Day 12-Papa's Surprise

TJ was a gift from Papa. He had found him on the farm and knew of 3 little boys who would just LOVE to have a little turtle as a pet. TJ was so tiny then, just a little bigger than a quarter. Now his shell is about 6 inches across! For a while, we weren't sure if his name was CJ or TJ (couldn't really understand Cademan), so we called him CJTJ. Now he's just TJ. I have to admit, I love this turtle. If a turtle can have a personality, he's got one! He gets excited and paddles his little legs really fast! He'll follow my finger around the tank, up and down. He spends his days sunning on his little landing, swimming and digging in the rocks.

Ok, I just re-read this and think it's pretty lame to have so much to say about a TURTLE, for crying out loud! But I'm going to post it anyway...
